New Mexico law requires prosecutors to provide support services for victims of certain crimes enumerated by statute.The Sixth Judicial District Attorney’s Office’s Victim Witness Assistance Program provides services and support to victims of all crimes, regardless of whether they are enumerated. Our advocates demonstrate compassion and understanding, validating crime victims’ experiences and feelings throughout the judicial process until case disposition.
